Dune Shack - White Beach, Tasmania

I had wanted to visit Tasmania for so long, and I was fortunate enough to spend a relaxing weekend at White Beach, taking photos of a cosy little cottage with access directly onto the beach.

Located in the small coastal town of White Beach on the Tasman Peninsula, Dune Shack is only 15 metres from the beach, in the shade of eucalyptus trees, and you can hear the steadily lapping waves as you fall asleep at night. The shack is beautifully renovated with all the comforts of home and it's the perfect spot to relax and go nowhere, or to use as a base for exploring Tasmania’s southern coast.

White Beach, a small town on the picturesque Tasmanian coastline, is a seaside spot ideal for a laid-back escape to rejuvenate the soul with some time spent outdoors. The picture-perfect long stretch of white sand and turquoise water has views across the bay to Bruny Island, and sunset over the water is stunning.

During my stay I visited the Port Arthur Historic Site and took in the sombre history and natural beauty of the place. My stay wasn't long enough but there's also walking tracks on the Peninsula, you can opt for adventure and swim, kayak or fish, and it's also not too far to Cape Raoul, Tessellated Pavement, Tasman Arch and Saltwater River.

I’m back home now but I’m already planning my next Tasmania trip 😄
